THUNDERBIRDS are in Bulgaria

Few hours ago the F-16s of the famous demonstration team THUNDERBIRDS of the US AF landed at Graf Ignatievo AFB. They were welcomed by the base commander brigadier Stojkov. Tomorrow disadvantaged children and orphans will be guests for the THUNDERBIRDS and the base.
The air show will be on 25th of June 2011. The airbase will be open for the public at 09.30 local time. At 10:00 there will be performance of the band of the BGR Air Force, at 11.40 parachute jumps of the Bulgarian special forces and at 12.30 starts the ground performance of the Thunderbirds followew by the air demonstrations from 13:00. At 14 - meeting with the pilots, photos,etc.
Graf Ignatievo AFB is located 16 kms north from the town of Plovdiv.
