On March 28th, 2013 in the Black Sea aquatory it has been held joint exercise of the Navy of the Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Romania.

The Bulgarian side involved in the training was the frigate "Verni" and the Romanian - frigate "Regina Maria".

The crews of both ships trained together solid cargo transfer at sea, tactical maneuvering, Radio transmission according to NATO standards, and inspection of "trespassing vessel".
